At Kingstree Presbyterian Church, we believe that giving is an act of worship—an expression of gratitude and trust in God's provision. In the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), tithing is viewed as a joyful response to God’s grace and a means of supporting the work of the church both locally and globally.
What is Tithing?
Tithing, meaning “a tenth,” is a biblical principle that encourages believers to give the first fruits of their income to the Lord (Proverbs 3:9). In the New Testament, believers are called to give generously, cheerfully, and sacrificially in response to the gospel (2 Corinthians 9:7). These offerings support the ministry of the Word, missions, mercy efforts, and the care of the church body.

You’re welcome to give during our Sunday morning worship service. Offering plates are passed throughout the congregation as part of our time of worship.
